Computer Troubleshooters Cairns, CT Cairns for short, was launched in May 2011, with Greg Freshwater and Irene Schardijn as owners.

Greg, a true blue Queenslander, has worked in the field of Electronics Engineering since 1982. His experience spreads over many different IT related Research and Development projects. After all these years working for Multinationals and Government, Greg decided it was time to settle somewhere and start for himself. He is the main technical person behind CT Cairns.

Irene has a background in administration and teaching and is responsible for the Accounts and customer support of CT Cairns. Being Brazilian (and Dutch, and Australian :-), she has always missed the tropics. Cairns feels a lot like home to her.

We are here to stay and we hope the lovely people of Cairns will embrace us and experience the quality and friendliness of our service, like we have embraced this beautiful town, we now call home.

Our link with Cairns goes back to the late 50's and 60's when Greg's dad use to come regularly for the cane cutting season. Check out these old pix from Greg's Mum in Kuranda in 61, maybe you recognize some of the old buildings!
